How many times have you gotten so excited about something that you could barely sleep, eat, or function normally? Could be a new relationship, job, car, home, or perhaps a new idea for your home-based business. Then again, how many times has that feeling simply faded into thin air?  Depressing isn't it?

Was it doubt, disappointment, lack of confidence, or some other negative that crept into your mind? We are taught to doubt ourselves, have negative feelings, ask questions of ourselves. That is totally normal. However it will not allow you to stand out above the crowd or be truly successful.

Confidence is the KEY, the one thing in common with all successful men and women. Confidence in their knowledge. Confidence in their abilities. Confidence they can do anything, accomplish any task. Confident that hard work and commitment will be rewarding.

No truly Successful person has a lack of Confidence! Those two words are married to each other, you cannot have one without the other.

Do these successful people have doubts or negative feelings? Of course they do. How they confront and over come such negatives is what sets them apart and ensures their success. They live, breathe, eat and instill positive thoughts in themselves and others!

Their positive tremendously out weighs all negative and doubt. They block out negatives and negative people. Their association with negative people is a downer and not tolerated.

Successful, confident, positive individuals are happy with themselves, satisfied with their surroundings. People enjoy being near them. People envy them. They have magnetic personalities, they attract others and flood their entire area with confidence and positive thoughts.

Think for a minute, had you rather be in the company of a negative person or one that has confidence and exudes positive thinking? Negative people bring you down, depress you, cause doubt in your own abilities. Positive people raise you up, make you feel better, give you more confidence. Both are like viral diseases, they spread quickly.

Success is not always money. Not all "millionaires" are successful. Not all successful people are millionaires. Money alone does not mean success. Perhaps some inherited their riches, some just achieved their riches with blind luck. One thing you can be sure of is that all self made millionaires that achieved success had confidence and a positive attitude.

They think like "millionaires" even when the bank account is empty. Do you want to wait for an inheritance, luck, or had you rather start thinking positive, use your "God given abilities" and build your own success story? Confidence not only builds your bank account, but also improves health both mind and body. Both are necessary for absolute positive unbending confidence!

How do you attain this attitude? "Knowledge is Power" but knowledge not used is wasted. Knowledge will give you confidence to achieve any goal you set for yourself if you remain committed and positive! Knowledge can be acquired, so can confidence and a positive attitude. Your commitment is all that is required.

If you're reading this, you have probably tried to make money on the Internet, tried to be successful without really knowing how or where to start. You have probably purchased "E-Books," read articles, listened to hype about the one and only "big secret" to success.

You might have even spent a small fortune gathering all this information. I personally  have many of those same books, books that have been rehashed, rewritten, reworded, but basically all have one goal. That goal being money in the pocket of the author and written more as  an advertisement to join his/her program or buy more back end products - new improved - just released etc...

With knowledge, you attain confidence, with knowledge you will know the difference between "scam" and "real." First and foremost you need the knowledge to improve your understanding of yourself, your abilities, attitude adjustments, thinking outside the box. 

Not a good idea to start jumping into this business head first without that knowledge and power. If you truly want success and the freedom it brings, learn first!

So where do you turn for the knowledge you need? Where do you begin to build the confidence and positive attitude necessary for success. We are not born with it. We acquire these things through experiences, through reading, through learning from those that have truly traveled the path to success. Not those that claim they have simply to sell a book.

For some unknown reason people on the Internet that have actually made an above normal amount of money are called "Guru's"  Personally, any time I see someone using that word, I am prone to laugh and get very cautious of anything they have to say.

Guru, to me imparts images of a cult leader or a self proclaimed leader of some insane cause that he wants to promote for his own personal selfish reasons.  You will not see me using that word to describe someone I respect or believe has true knowledge to share. I prefer to use descriptions such as instructor, professor, teacher, or mentor.

These after all are the true definitions. Person's that have attained their knowledge either through experience, books, or just life's hard knocks. The true master teacher also enjoy sharing that knowledge with others.

Each usually has at least one particular field of expertise and a very good understanding of many. Not all approach their teachings in the same way. Each teaches what has improved their life or resulted in their success. Mine and your advantage is learning from all, expanding our basic knowledge. Whether we apply it is our decision and certainly dictates our destiny.

We all start the same way. Sure some have better access to schools, universities, and traditional learning institutions. The one thing we all have is the ability to learn and absorb everyday life experiences to place in our minds data bank for use when needed. "A day without new knowledge is a wasted day!" that's my quote, your are free to use it if you want. ☺

In today's world we have access to all the information we could ever possibly absorb, the Internet. Of course not all of it has real value. Our choices are to pick and choose the material, teachers, and subject matter that interests us. By making those choices we gain knowledge, confidence, which in turn changes our attitude and invokes positive and confident feelings.

Most of us have our life experiences whatever they might be, that "roadblock" our thoughts and hinder our efforts to move forward and progress. These are sometimes referred to as "hang-ups," "issues," "baggage," or excuses. We all have some no matter how small they seem. All negative of course.

I don't usually write an article that asks a lot of questions without offering some solutions to the subject. My solution for this particular article is very simple. The key answer is to "get your brain moving in the right direction." To change your life, your mind has to be first. The mind controls YOU and should be reversed. You should have complete control of your destiny.

Doing this will improve relationships with family, friends or anyone you come in contact with. New goals can be attained, even goals you thought were impossible before. Your health and general well being can easily be improved with getting your brain working correctly. The brain is a powerful mechanism that used properly can attain anything you desire.
