You've got a brain full of great ideasHere's how to turn them into profits!
One Good Idea Can Change Everything Have you ever felt like you just cannot find that one thing that will help you achieve your goals? Many of us feel that we have missed that one great idea that could help us get ahead ... help us live the life we dream about. And that thought, the idea that you've missed it, is perhaps the main thing standing between you and the success you deserve. Now I'm no Dale Carnegie or Tony Robbins. And the message here is not that 'happy thinking will fix everything.' The message is twofold. 1. Focus and action on good ideas creates results. 2. Everyone feels the same way you do. I'll be candid with you. I still find myself looking for that one great idea. And our businesses are doing better than ever. Drives my wife nuts. ;) Almost every 'guru' I speak with feels the same way. Oh, they will acknowledge their past success, but the majority of their time is spent the same way you spend your time ... looking for something that works. The good news (great news really) is that you are so much closer than it may appear to you now. All it takes is an idea and some action. A ship cannot be turned when it sits by the dock. Give it some movement, just a little movement will do, and you can steer a giant ship with just a tiny rudder. Even the most massive door is completely dependant on the tiniest of hinges to open. So, what are the hinges in your life that will swing the door of success wide open? Two words describe them ... ideas and action. It's just that simple. Even as Thomas Edison was willing to try and fail 1000 times before inventing the light bulb, so too must we be willing to try until we succeed. And the starting point of our success is ideas. In that light, I've listed some ideas below that have worked for me over the years. In the five years I've been online I've experienced a range of economic levels. Since I'm not speaking with you personally, and can't know your level, I've listed a few for each level. I hope they help. ===> No Money * Improve web copy to increase conversion. * Create a follow up series for your main offering * Find a program that works for your life * Introduce the people in your address book to your favorite product * Start an ezine * Register for free traffic at TrafficSwarm. http://www.trafficswarm.com * Read a 'classic' eBook about how to get started * Write an ezine article and ask publishers to use it. Can't write? Team up with a writer and split the profits. ===> Some Money * Do some Pay Per Click Advertising. * Buy three low-cost ezine ads. * Start promoting a product that compliments your own products. ===> Lots of Money * Create a product that helps people. Think about how you got to where you are, write up a book about how you did it, and give it away. Here's my surefire method for deciding what to do next. 1. Make a list of your three best ideas. 2. Draw a line through the top two. 3. Do the third one with all your heart. Okay, I'm kidding a bit. But believe me, getting started is *the* key, even if you don't make the perfect choice. You probably know enough right now. To help clarify my thinking, I always ask myself this question. "If there were *one* idea I could pass on to my daughter, what would it be?" Once I answer that one, I go out and do it. No matter where you are today, if you take action on the best idea you have now, your situation at this time next month *will* be different. It will be better. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Charlie Page is a copywriter who owns the Directory of Ezines and the Directory of Marketing.
