Perhaps a little background might help? Born Raymond D White, 1948 in rural North Florida. Two brothers and I were raised by our Grandparents due to personal circumstances.

Grandparents owned a small farm where for their entire life was spent scratching out a meager living, from dawn til dusk working in the fields. Taught me and my brothers right from wrong, you will go to church, school, you will always have three meals per day, and learn to work for a living, not depend on anyone for support.

They taught self reliance, independence, love, and spiritual well being which is how they were taught and lived their daily life. We didn’t have money but we were always happy, and "rich" in things that really mattered.

Now, I don’t know if you’ve ever worked on a small farm, all manual labor, no modern equipment those days, but it’s really back breaking hard work where sweat is normal, aches and pains are reality. It was a tough life, but a great life and one that so few now get to experience, too bad.

It was done for survival. Always fresh vegetables, fresh eggs, milk from the cow, fresh pork, beef and all the comforts of home. Actually not all the comforts we think of today, like central heat & air conditioning...no we never had that...lol

Married at the age of 21 after military service, moved to San Antonio, TX, (my wife’s hometown) raised two wonderful children, applied the lessons taught in childhood, worked my butt off for every employer, mostly in the automotive parts distribution business for over 30 years.

Only worked for two different companies, and two only because the first closed the doors after filing bankruptcy. A true, hard working company man! Never had enough time for family, friends, too caught up in working, thought process was that job and security was most important.. Very WRONG!

So where is Ray White today? Guess you could say I am what is called a statistic. You have probably heard about us before. Yeah, we get to a certain age, our salary is beyond what the Employer thinks is reasonable and all of a sudden you become expendable.

So here it comes. Well you know the economy is not good, we have to cut back on expenses so sorry, you no longer have a JOB? Wow, what a shock, no warning, never been let go from any job before and at this age where will you find employment and earn enough to provide and survive on?

I’ll admit, at first it scared the pure hell "outa" me. Had always had security, worked hard for it and never worried about financial problems.

Now I was worried about being able to pay my bills and live the lifestyle accustomed too. Not only that, retirement was certainly on my mind in the near future. No medical insurance, no future, or so I thought.

Young and Old alike, take heed, start now, build your own business, stop depending on your "Employer" to secure your future!  Start thinking, learning!  No matter how much you love your job. Doesn't have to be an Internet business. Here are a few examples of offline possibilities for your review and to create ideas.

There is no way a person can live comfortably on social security benefits that we have contributed to all our lives here in the states. No way the average person can save enough to retire comfortably.

Now, looking back it was the best day of my life. Only wish it had happened years earlier. Was awakened to reality and now understood what few others have always known. You need to control your own destiny. Your own business, your own source of income, your life completely in your control. Take control of YOUR life! Spend time with your family. Enjoy life.

I’m just a regular guy. Not impressed by big fancy cars, boats, expensive clothes or living in a mansion. These are not the things in life that motivate me. But, wouldn't it be nice if the whim for anything you wanted was at your finger tips?

My goals are simple now, provide a comfortable future for my family, teach them my life experiences. Be there when needed, be it financial or moral support. Never have to worry about money again. Be able to travel, visit other states, other countries, and play golf any time I feel the urge. :)

My greatest "warm feeling" comes from helping others to achieve their goals! The ability to share my learned experiences, saving time, money, and frustrations. You can secure your future and live the life you desire, but learning is of utmost importance.

Now I’ve tried other type businesses, searching for the one thing that would fulfill my simple goals. The Internet has become my passion and the one place where I can achieve those goals. It also allows me the opportunity to share with others which is very rewarding.

Not only that, I hate doing "Job" interviews, being told I'm over qualified or some other lame excuse when they know already I could replace them in a matter of minutes and probably do a much better job. Guess my resume is too threatening to their personal security.

Actually I started my first business online with the SMC products. If you live in the USA, I'm sure you've seen the infomercials on TV. Even went so far as opening a retail shop of gifts and collectibles. Added a Website for online presence and frankly was quite disappointed in the beginning. Took me several months before I realized even one sale. Talk about a learning experience! This however was my first experience with online business.

That first Website has been re-worked completely for the 3rd time now and even if I say so myself is doing pretty good. Have over 3,000 items online, offer VIP memberships, an affiliate program, wholesale program, blog, and a forum for the site. See my final product here: CMGifts-Usa.com! My first experiences with Internet marketing were, well let's just say, very disappointing. Had no experience, no "real" training and no idea how or what to do. Did a lot of searching, tried numerous affiliate programs with no success. Through my searching and need to find something that actually would teach me, found Stone Evan's PlugInProfit site system. I'll have to say now that is was my nugget that included everything needed for someone like me with no knowledge or experience.

Stone's system includes hosting account, domain name registration, free Website, complete instructions, and five affiliate programs plugged into the system for profit. Now this didn't happen over night and was actually quite over powering in the beginning. Took some time to absorb the whole concept but with the training provided, my only job was to use the system and add my own ideas for uniqueness. I have actually posted a review of the complete system for others to read here....   No matter what you've been told or what system or program you see, this truly is a perfect way for someone new to get started. The really great part about the package is that all the affiliate programs included have specific and detailed training and support.

First, let me tell you that I am NOT an Internet "Guru" nor consider myself an "expert", in fact don’t even care for those terms. After being on the Internet for a while you too will understand why. All of a sudden everyone is a guru...:) even if self proclaimed.

May not use proper English, punctuation, or write proper sentences most of the time, but I will write my information plain enough for you to understand and use. (Sorry, English teachers, Math was my favorite and easiest subject) Like to deal with facts!

So how can you benefit from listening to a regular guy?

Benefit from my experiences on the Internet accumulated over the last few years. I have learned, studied, purchased every "Guru" book I thought would benefit me and have now in my possession, knowledge and experience. Trials, errors, huge mistakes, all one enormous learning curve. Will it make you rich? That is entirely up to you, no matter what anyone says!

Gathering knowledge from reputable and various sources, then applying that knowledge can certainly make you rich! Being lazy, clicking thru TV channels, munching on cheetos, will certainly not put anything in your bank account. You can do that after you reach a certain point in life...  :)   Hint: This symbol  :)  is suppose to signify a smile!

No, don’t have all the answers, no one does. The Internet is constantly changing, but basic knowledge still applies and is required. There are some things that never change,  life dictates. Beware of the claims, | "all the answers" | "the one thing that will make you rich" | "everything you need" | "your complete solution" | etc... etc...

Terminology heard often, like "multiple streams of income" and "secret is in your list" are very valid quotes relating to any business, and especially pertains to the Internet! So how do you achieve those?

Been told to write an "e-book" put my experiences and knowledge in book  form and sell it  for $97. Well guess that is possible, but much rather be able to sleep at night knowing that I have done the right thing and something that makes me feel good about myself. Besides, most of these are not my "original" ideas, but learned from some of the top "teachers" and "mentors" available.

Sure you've seen many books on the net for sale at anywhere from $19 to $97, or even higher that promise the "big secret" or the only thing you will ever need to know, right? Heck, you can go to the book store and get a current best seller for less than that.

So how can these self proclaimed gurus actually sleep at night with a good conscious? Knowing that most of what they have written has been rehashed from other books, title changed to grab attention and then market for some outrageous price!

Don’t misunderstand me, there are some great original books written by people that do know what they are talking about, have good valid content, probably worth every penny asked. A small few, but there is not any single book that can provide all the information you will need to succeed. If ever such a book was compiled, you'd need a crane to lift it.

Don’t know whether you are "new" to the Internet experience, been making some money or perhaps somewhere in the middle.

Either way the information provided to you free of charge from my experiences will benefit you in time, money and shorten your learning curve. Information from the heart, not involving the bank account.

When first attracted to the Internet, joined every affiliate program, business opportunity, and yes even some that turned out to be "scams." Thought that was what everyone meant by "multiple streams of income" :) Big mistake.

Purchased all the "get rich quick" books I could find. Stored several hundred on my hard drive, some free, some very expensive. Some worth the money, but most just duplicates or someone trying to sell another made up program for a quick buck.

With that said, if you have interest in working from home, having your own business, all on the Internet don’t start the way I did.

Your first task is to learn. Know what you are doing before jumping into every "golden" opportunity you see. Did you know that over 95% of people that try to make money on the Internet, fail? Why do they fail?

They have no idea how or where to start. Any job you have ever had, you need some training to perform successfully. You get caught up in the "Hype" , "B.S.", and start to believe anything, everything, especially how "easy" it is and "no work involved".

There is plenty to go around, more every day. You’ve seen it, the "free" "quick" "overnight riches" "$10,000 first month" "millionaire-one year" "no work needed" "10 minutes a day" "Mercedes in garage" "yacht at your local marina" "$2.5 Million Mansion" "$100,00 in 24 hours" and my favorite, "no experience needed!"

FYI, the above is pure hype or just an outright lie! Treat this as a "business" to be built and not an overnight miracle.

So my question has always been, why do people jump on the Internet and think that it’s instant money falling from the sky with no experience, knowledge, or the idea that you don’t need to work? If you think that way, go ahead, buy your lottery tickets to secure your future. Same odds!

Actually, I was sucked into that same mind set in the beginning. Not gonna happen, believe me. Experience talking.
